The Berwick-upon-Tweed Educational Association is a self-funded, not-for profit organisation run by a group of volunteers. Any surplus funds are re-invested in further classes.
The Association runs courses and day schools covering a variety of subjects, from the poetry of the First World War, to local history, geology and archaeology. The courses are classroom based and some involve local field trips.
The courses are open to everyone and most are aimed at the complete beginner. The charges for the courses vary, so please read the relevant course sheets for more information.
We use three venues in Berwick-upon-Tweed, the William Elder Building on Castlegate, the Berwick Voluntary Centre on Tweed Street and the Granary (YHA). Please click here

NEW - We are having an informal gathering on the first Wednesday of every month in the Granary Bistro (YHA Building, Berwick) from 10.30 to 12.00. Please come along for a chat and to exchange ideas, books, CDs etc.
